We mailed you a Withdrawal Acknowledgment Notice. On May xx, 2017, we received your request to withdraw your Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card, Receipt Number IOExxxxxxx, and completed our review. Withdrawal Acknowledgement Notice Was Sent

The case status of my I-90 application now shows as 'Withdrawn' on my online USCIS account as below: It also explains that an application can be withdrawn at any point before a decision is made on it however the application cannot be re-activated and if I need the green card renewed in the future, I will have to apply again.ĥ. The USCIS letter also confirmed that no refund would be made of the biometrics or application fees I had paid (not bothered about that and wasn't expecting it). Just under a month after I mailed the letter, I received a notification text/email from my account confirming that the application had been withdrawn. The letter referenced by I-90 Receipt number (an IOE number in this case as I had applied online) and requested that the USCIS withdraw the application as it was no longer needed in view of the fact that I am now a US citizen.Ĥ. I then contacted USCIS via the 'contact us' button in my online account and they advised me to send a letter to the following USCIS office:ģ. (For some inexplicable reason it only took 68 days from filing my N-400 to attending the oath ceremony to become a citizen)Ģ. After I became a US citizen and attended the oath ceremony, the I-90 Green Card 10 year renewal application I had filed 5 months earlier was still pending. Visit the Professionally Qualified Person page for further information on making an application. So here's how this is done for future reference.ġ. The reason for this is that previous PQP cards have only been endorsed with the Professional Body name, however, cards will now also be endorsed with the applicants level of membership with the relevant Professional Body. Visit the Academically Qualified Person page for further information on making an application.Īll applicants are required to supply proof that they hold current membership of the professional body and the evidence must be for the current year.Īll Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) card applications must be new applications. Visit the Labourer card page for further information on making an application.ĬSCS has introduced a new process where the title of qualification (degree, HND, HNC etc) is displayed on the reverse of the card, for example Quantity Surveying Degree will be displayed.ĬSCS will require a copy of your qualification certificate each time you apply for a card as the qualification title on the certificate must match what is displayed on the card.

This requires the applicant to submit a copy of their qualification/training course certificate as part of the new card application. The sheer number of renewal requirements introduces a great deal of complexity to the application process and it was for this reason that CSCS has withdrawn the renewal service for Labourer cards.Īll Labourer card applications must now be new applications. There are numerous approved routes to obtaining the Labourer card, ranging from a lifetime qualification to a number of training courses that need to be renewed every 3-5 years. When making a new card application you are required to submit all the appropriate documentation to support your application, this includes copies of your qualifications and/or evidence of your professional body membership.

Holders of these cards are required to apply for a new CSCS card rather than apply to renew an existing card. Labourer, Academically Qualified Person (AQP) and Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) cards cannot be renewed.
